According to recent reports, Hollywood pop sensation Dua Lipa may grace the stage with her presence, delivering a performance that could set the stadium ablaze.

This revelation emerged after Dua Lipa engaged in an AskDua session with cricket players K L Rahul, Shubman Gill, Kane Williamson, and Daryl Mitchell before the first semi-final between India and New Zealand. When asked about her potential song choices for the World Cup opening and closing ceremony, she hinted at electrifying renditions of 'Physical' and 'One Kiss.'

Dua Lipa's return to India after four years adds an extra layer of excitement to the event. The three-time Grammy Award winner previously performed in the country in November 2019 at the OnePlus music festival alongside pop sensation Katy Perry.

The musical spectacle doesn't stop there. Reports suggest that the Indian Air Force will contribute to the festivities with a captivating air show by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team, set to enthral the audience for ten minutes before the start of the final match. Rehearsals for this aerial display are scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Beyond the musical and aerial performances, the VIP guest list for the final is equally impressive. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and various union ministers are expected to attend, adding a touch of political prestige to the event.

Cricket enthusiasts can also look forward to the presence of legendary Indian captains Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who are set to join the cheering squad for Team India.

The entertainment extravaganza doesn't end there; singer Aditya Gadhvi of 'Khalasi' fame, Jonita Gandhi, and music composer Pritam are also slated to perform at the ceremony preceding the match, promising a diverse and dynamic blend of music.

As the cricket world gears up for the grand finale, it seems that the musical prelude will be just as electrifying as the action on the field. With a mix of international music sensations, breathtaking aerial displays, and a gathering of political and cricketing dignitaries, the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup final is shaping up to be an event that transcends sports and enters the realm of a truly unforgettable entertainment spectacle.
