Starting at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom), the Exeter becomes Hyundai's most affordable SUV offering, slotting in below the popular Place model. Once inside, the Exter showcases a well-designed cabin that draws inspiration from the Grand i10 NIOS. The Xter also impresses with an array of features like cruise control, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, rear AC vents and even a dashcam. Notably, the Exeter is the most affordable SUV in India with an electric sunroof. Safety features are not compromised, as the Exter is equipped with electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, rear parking sensors, six airbags and more.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Exter packs a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 83 PS of maximum power and 114 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while an industry-first optional AMT with paddle shifters is also available for added convenience. The Exter promises a claimed mileage of 19.4 kmpl with the manual transmission and 19.2 kmpl with the AMT variant. Additionally, Hyundai offers the Exter with an optional CNG kit, which comes with a manual gearbox as standard, boasting an impressive mileage of 27.10 km/kg.

Customers can choose from a variety of color options for the exterior, including Ranger Khaki, Cosmic Blue, Atlas White, Fiery Red and Starry Night. The first three colors are also available with a dual-tone option, allowing buyers to customize their SUV to their liking.

With the launch of Hyundai Exter, the Korean automaker aims to tap into the growing demand for compact SUVs in India's competitive market. Exeter's attractive pricing, feature-rich interior, modern design elements and multiple powertrain options make consumers look for an affordable and versatile SUV.

Enthusiasts and potential buyers are encouraged to visit Hyundai dealerships, compare the Exter to competing offerings, and take a test drive to determine the SUV that best suits their needs and preferences.
